Groups by grade stay small, so a shy kindergartner and a confident fifth grader each get a den that fits.
Cub Scout Pack 24
Big adventures at kid scale. Kindergarten through fifth grade.
Girls and boys join a small den with kids their own age, then come together as one pack for derby day, campouts, and service. Parents are part of it too. Nobody needs experience to start.
Where the pack meets
The fellowship hall at 7720 Alaska Ave NW.
Pack nights open with a circle and close with a cheer. A parent stays for the first visit, uniforms are optional that night, and families do not have to belong to the congregation that hosts us.
How a pack year works
Small dens. One pack. Families camp together.
Pack nights
The whole pack gathers for skits, awards, guests, and the public nights a visitor can attend. Loud, in a good way.
Crossing to the troop
After fifth grade, the usual next step here is Troop 24. Families can visit both before they decide.
Pack year
Pinewood Derby, campouts, food drive, wreaths.
